About to become a stay at home mom to my twin toddlers. I am nervous, but excited to spend more time with them. Any suggestions on making this transition?

I would suggest toddler classes (gym, music, art, toddler pre-school) to put a good structure to the day. congratulations to you!!

[ Reply | Options ]Your life will become infinitely less stressful once you no longer work, but it will be a struggle to remain interested and fulfilled. Staying at home the first few years is ALL maintenance. You will need to create opportunities for yourself for fulfillment outside of raising twins. At first it's soooo relaxing not having to juggle multiple things, and then it's like that movie Groundhog Day. This is when you'll really need to get to work to create a life that both YOU and your toddlers enjoy. Then they start school, and it gets crazy, but fun.
