About to become a stay at home mom to my twin toddlers. I am nervous, but excited to spend more time with them. Any suggestions on making this transition?

    • the knowledge that you're doing the right thing for your toddlers and that SO much stress will be eliminated from your life from trying to make the whole wohm/doing the best for the kids try to work. i promise you you won't regret this down the road, and they will be school age kids before you know it. I would suggest toddler classes (gym, music, art, toddler pre-school) to put a good structure to the day. congratulations to you!!

    • joing mothers of multiples and get into a playgroup. It saved my sanity. (twin SAHM) You're doing a good thing for your kids. It's just hard sometimes. You'll need other adults to interact with.

    • Your life will become infinitely less stressful once you no longer work, but it will be a struggle to remain interested and fulfilled. Staying at home the first few years is ALL maintenance. You will need to create opportunities for yourself for fulfillment outside of raising twins. At first it's soooo relaxing not having to juggle multiple things, and then it's like that movie Groundhog Day. This is when you'll really need to get to work to create a life that both YOU and your toddlers enjoy. Then they start school, and it gets crazy, but fun.
