  • Do you know what I think is one of the saddest things about UB? The seeming hatred btn Christians vs. Jews on this site. Why can't we all recognize that we have a lot more commonalities than we do differences? Why can't we all just get along?

      • OP: I know. It seems a daily occurence here on UB. And I just don't find it irl. Sure, people have different beliefs, but by and large, we respect them. Yet, not according to this web site.

      • It was posted by a Jewish person, who does not like jewish liberals. It is not a Christian/Jewish post. It is a pro-Israeli policy post. Which seems to be the main source of arguments found here, not Christian/Jewish, but hard line/liberal.

    • I think it's hatred for anyone who is not white, who believes in God (Christian or Jewish or Muslim) and who does thing differently from whomever is posting. This is really a hateful board in general. Very intolerant.

      • I have not seen any real anti-semitism here, just jerk-off immature comments. I've seen more racism and slurs against kids with special needs, and that concerns me more. I am trying to stop coming here because I would never spend a minute in real life with the kind of assholes who say things like that. I don't listen to hate radio or even pop radio because that kind of idiotic speech is so despicable and just a waste of time.

        • Is is fair that Christian kids in NYC public schools are forced to take days off for Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur while they are prohibited from saying "Merry Christmas"?

          • I don't have the same perspective otr experience as OP's. To the above poster, The entire public,private school, baking and much of the business world are 'forced' to close for Christmas.
