Suburbs question. Does Rye have enough jews that my kids won't feel alienated in schools. Don't want to do Scarsdale as too intense and want better schools than Mamaroneck.

why is it silly. would you live in a part of brooklyn that is 95% indian, or orthodox jewish, or in chinatown or any other area where you were a very small minority. as a jew who grew up the only one in a christian school in the south, i think i am far better positioned than you to determine if its a "silly" question or not.

Why don't you just go with the flow & let your kid celebrate the commercial aspect of Christmas? Sheesh! Every kid, no matter what religion, wants to be a part of the Santa Claus, Rudolph, and presents thing. Screw religion!
