5 yo dd has an on and off fever since last night. when not feverish she seems fine. with the fever she is mopey and cranky. 25 kids at her school (but the high school) were out- school says it is the swine flu- but who knows. do you think it is swine flu? in any case what is the recommendation for taking care of this. let the fever go or give tylenol?

    • Obviously your Dr. is the expert but generally sleep adn fluids are the way to go. Fever is not your dc's enemy but you also don't want a sustained fever over 101 for any period of time so maybe Motrin or Tylenol here and there with some breaks in btwn.
