  • ?- if you are pregnant, can you ovulate again and become preg with a second, assuming sex happens w/ second ovulation? I had a strange 2 day light bleeding (not like mense) mid-cycle, and then 1 wk later tested + ovulation and 11 DPO test + pregnancy. I am scheduled w/ OBGYN-- wondering the likelihood...

    • the opk will pick up the hcg - if you are already pg, that is why you got a + ovulation test. you do not make eggs while pg.

      • op: So if I understand you correctly, sounds like both the +ov test and + preg test could be from a preg that triggered implantation bleeding (brown/red vd)?

      • My cycle is about 31 days...and the brown/red VD happened mid cycle...about 20 days in.

        • op: Since the VD was so unlike my period, in that it was not heavy nor long enough, I am confused if it could have been implantation bleeding...but then why the positive Ovulation test 1 wk later?
