Anyone take baby swim class at 92nd St Y? I am debating between that and Ashpalt Green for 12mo DS. Do babies and parents have to wear swim caps at both? Which class is better?

    • Definitely AG. I took one at 92nd St Y and the pool was pretty cold. Multiple friends in the neighborhood LOVE Asphalt Green. FWIW, I actually prefer non-swim classes to swim classes at that age b/c you ahve to change them, etc. and sometimes they cry and what are they really learning at this point.

      • ITD. DS has taken classes since 6 mos old at AG, and is now very comfortable in water, swimming without parent (instructors only) and able to hold breath to swim underwater. Very valuable lessons to learn so young.
