Actually, the honors track is quite good. Colleges tend to love LaG kids, especially those who've been in honors and AP, because of their dual academic and artistic commitment.

[ Reply | More ]As the mom of a LaG kid, who has many, many friends at Stuy and Bronx, the LaG kids are WAY happier, which in a teen is NOT to be underestimated. By the way, LaG is 2nd behind Stuy among city HS's for getting kids into Ivy League schools.
