  • Do Preschools care (i.e. discriminate against) about whether child has been in daycare? I've heard 0 on the subject, I just know that the NY elite are very anti-daycare and pro-nanny. Just wondering...

    • Previous child care was never asked about on any application form or at any interview we attended. What was asked was about any classes etc that the child had attended.

    • please don't listen to the women on this board about preschool - there is a lot of misinformation. Nothing wrong with daycare. It's all about your child but for some schools which are about money. Find one you'll be happy at and your dc

    • My dd went to daycare starting at 8 weeks and I included that information on all preschool applications and dd was accepted at 4 UES preschools including 2 "top" preschools.
