what would you do if your employee was constantly UB'ing at work? I told her it's unacceptable to me; should I do anything else? I am so livid about this so I need to know if I am overreacting

    • That would be me. I hope my boss gives me a warning. I need a good reason to stop.

      • I think OP is being sarcastic in response to the texting post

    • I would think that you don't give them enough work to do--maybe it should be a part-time job. Sounds like an employer prob, not an employee prob.

    • hilarious that you're then posting on UB about it. in general, people should limit messaging and posting at work. that's not what they get paid for.

      • I get it. It's funny... and tragic that people treat their nannies like they're robots or something (Must! Keep! Eye! On! DC! All! The! Time!)

        • How about crazy employers who want their nannies to interact with their charges and not act bored and stare into space all the time? Outrageous.

          • I think it's fine for the nanny to text if the DCs are napping or playing by themselves, much like I text/UB during downtimes at work.

        • But truly, what is so freaking important that you have to text constantly (like a robot)?
