Thinking of possibly moving from west village to UWS next year and dd will be 3 next year...so we may apply to WV and UWS schools. I know all the downtown schools but clueless about UW. We would want to stay in the 70's or 80's near CPW. TIA!

She is talking about a 3 year old and many of these responses were for ongoing schools. There are many pre-schools on the UWS although some such as Claremont let in very few 3s as the 2s are the entry point. You should look at Mandell, Westside Montessori, Morningside Montessori, Stephen Weiss, Rodeph (only if you want to stay there for ongoing), and there are a couple up by Columbia. You can try Claremont as well but the chances are slim in the 3s. Hope this helps.
