      • where do you get your hair done? I just had my hair highlight/hair cut/blow, and it cost me $250. $10 to the hair stylist and $3 to the girl who washed my hair. thought that was way too much!

            • I usually tip $3-5 for the shampoo girl, and I'd tip at least 10% (but usually more like 15-20) to the stylist. You gave her less than 5%!

                • you should have given at LEAST $20 - less is kind of insulting, imo. No, you don't have to give $50, but come on - $10? That's nothing, when you're paying that much for your hair - you know the stylist isn't getting all that money!

    • every 2-3 months, highlights, cut, etc., depending on whether I get a half head or full head it's anywhere between $140-250. I tip the stylist about $40, the shampoo girl $10 (she also does treatments and gloss). oh...plus I buy products...it gets expensive, but it's worth it!
