  - you mean one for work and one for family and friends? do you know where you'd prefer to have it? am trying to decide between a restaurant, my house, or a friend's house.

    - My girlfriends are giving me one, and my mil is giving me one, which will be more for family/older friends, whereas the girlfriends one will just be that. I didn't ask any of them to do it. I think the girlfriends one is going to be a tea somewhere and MIL will have her's at her apartment

        well, if my family were normal, there would be. But girlfriends (I am young and one of my few friends who is married, first to have a baby) want to throw me a shower, and my MIL is insisting on throwing me a shower as well. I don't want to have to invite all the extended family that should be invited to a shower to the one gfs are having, so I will have them all for the one MIL is having.
