Any writers with young children on? How do you do it? Day care? Nanny? M-F? Part-time? Write in the evening?
2 replies [ Reply | Watch | Options ]Novelist and journalist here too. The only way I can do it is to have help. I have FT, though I spend a lot of it with at least 1 of the kids when I'm not on deadline. But I need FT to cover last minute interviews, crazy writing days, meetings, etc. I think, however, as noted above, it's doable with less help, especially as the kids ease into school.
