    • I'm 27 weeks with #3 and it's only within the last week or two that people (including male co-workers, always the litmus test) have been outright asking me about the pregnancy instead of just looking at me funny.

      • interesting. what is your build/body type? I'm 22 weeks, normally slim, haven't gained much (maybe 8-9 lbs) and am now getting obvious questions from acquaintances and offered seats on the train nearly every day

    • I have a small frame and make big babies. First baby was 8 lbs born a month early. With pg#1 people could sort of tell by 3 months, but I was still able to hide it under winter clothing. (Wanted to wait until as late as possible to "come out.") With pg#2 it was hard to hide at 3 months (but still possible) and impossible by 4 months.

    • everybody is different. You couldn't tell at all I was pregnant until about 20 weeks when I wore fitted clothing. If I ahd wanted to hide it more I probably could have until 6 months- but then I would have just looked bulky and fat. I am now pregnant with number 2 and thinking by 4 months I'll be into the maternity clothes to keep from looking big and bulky instead of pregnant, and by 5 months I'll probably be obviously pregnant.

    • For my first (and only so far) people kept asking me if I was sure I was pregnant. I didn't show and nobody noticed until around 7 months.

      • Oh my god! You're so small and petite and hardly gained any weight. Aren't you the prefect pregnant person!

        • Take it easy crazy - small and petite here and let me say it is impossible to hide the pregnancy. I looked like a huge belly with a girl attached.

    • I'm 4 months, have gained 6 lbs - but I definitely look pg in most things. I'm still trying to hide it from most at work, so I've been wearing lots of blazers and scarves. My co-worker actually told me that at his wife's work - they didn't know / guess she was pg till 2 weeks before her due date. I mean...SERIOUSLY! That is soooooooo ridiculous.

    • i hate these posts that are obsessed with weight and body image while pregnant. you are pregnant, you will gain weight and it's 99.9% likely that people will notice at some point. enjoy it and prepare for your blessing.
