8 mo db can sit up but doesn't roll over or crawl. Time to be concerned yet? Ped wasn't worried about the no-rolling at her six month visit. Should I just wait until the nine month visit to discuss it again?

      • yes, she gets alot of tummy time - she seems to prefer it to lying on her back - she can lift her chest off the floor by straightening her arms but thats it.

        • Crawling is not a milestone. Don't be worried. If she doesn't start to pull up in another month to a standing/cruising position you may want to get her evaluated, but don't worry about it.

                • It doesn't hurt to have her evaluated. Call your ped for a referral and by the time the eval actually happens she could very well be rolling and or crawling.

    • My dd didn't sit up until 8 1/2 months and within one week of that was crawling. She was turning over by now then I think. Some babies just don't have strong enough muscles but that doesn't mean that there is something wrong. Everybody was freaking out when my dd wouldn't sit at 6 months but she was got the hang of it a little later. If your worried talk to your pedi.
