Has anyone had or been to a party at Build in Bear in the city on 5th Ave? Worth it? Appropriate for a 5/6/7 year old?

  • Has anyone had or been to a party at Build in Bear in the city on 5th Ave? Worth it? Appropriate for a 5/6/7 year old?

    • My dd has been to 2 parties there and I dread the next invitation she gets for one there. It is a very long party and always goes at least a half hour later than the invite says. The food is awful at the cafe there and the place is a zoo. If you do one there I would recommend just invite a few kids to do a Build a Bear and go someplace else for pizza and cake.

    • went to one for a 5-yr-old: fun, very easy on the parents (those paying and those attending), highly commercial parties-by-the-pound vibe but if you want to go that route, it works.
