- Honestly most of the time it's not fun at all, but it's not supposed to be fun

If your dh was diagnosed with ADD as an adult, what was the most obvious behavior that led you or him to suspect it? I am thinking my dh may have it.

OP: he's always overwhelmed by everything. Never can seem to get things done. Has piles upon piles of paper and "stuff." Empties his pockets -- receipts, coins, golf tees, tissues, business cards -- onto his night table every night and never clears it off. Even the garbage stays there. He sometimes explodes with anger over small things. He is an under-acheiver. He's very disorganized.

My dh has similar behaviors to yours and I made him go for an evaluation a few years ago. He was diagnosed and given adderal. He really enjoyed the addreal and never went for follow-ups...frustrating. I try to just let go of the little things and keep him on track with the big things, I know this isn't the best but it works mostly...
