- I took my dd off the bottle on her first birthday. I started her on the sippy at around 10 months during the day but still let her have her night bottle. Then on her first birthday I just didn't give it to her. She didn't fuss or anything, never asked for it again.

my 11mo went right from breastfeeding to a sippy cup.

now. Water in bottle, milk in sippy until she gets the hang of it in a few days.

I took my dd off the bottle on her first birthday. I started her on the sippy at around 10 months during the day but still let her have her night bottle. Then on her first birthday I just didn't give it to her. She didn't fuss or anything, never asked for it again.
