Do you 'enjoy' spending time with your kids?
- Yes, most of the time we really have fun together
- Sometimes it's fun, sometimes it's really dull and aggravating
- Honestly most of the time it's not fun at all, but it's not supposed to be fun
- I really don't enjoy it at all, and wish I could spend less time with them

guess so. I'm not sure why. I love him. I think i am angry because i never ever ever have time for myself ever! I work full time and have a toddler and he works and it seems his work always takes precedence, as do his stories and all. I can go thru a whole evening silent and listen to him and he never checks in wth me about my day or offers to come home early so i could get my work done. I am so tired of it. Plus, we NEVER take a vacation and he is content to jst live like a slob in a shitty apt. ARRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!

I would lay down some ground rules. Can't help it if DH talks non stop. My DH doesn't talk at all. So I have to literally contribute ALL the conversation. But he has to come home and relieve the nanny 2X a week. I do 3X a week. Its not equal. I still plan menus, do most of the cooking, freshdirect etc... but I have to assign him work
[ Reply | More ]^sorry: I have to assign him house work if I want it done. He just doesn't seem to 'see' when things are lying around and need cleaning. I completely boss over him re things that need to get done because we both know I do 70-80% of the housework despite working slightly longer hours.
