    • Yes. My dd slept much better that way. She's now 12 years old, so yes, she survived. My ds slept on his back though.

    • Yes - for naps. Did it w/ my first DD from 7 weeks - she slept so much better!! Now napping 2nd DD on stomach - she sleeps for 3-4 hours at a stretch at 3.5 months and falls asleep in about 3 minutes. Makes me a bit nervous, but we do it with a paci in, no blankets around, hard mattress. Not sure I would do it with a DS - I've read that SIDS risk is higher for boys. But difference in nap length / her happiness is significant

    • Absolutely did for #2; he wouldn't sleep on his side or back. Now of course he's 6 and sleeps on his back with his hand down his pants.

    • I never put my dd on her tummy to sleep since it is not recommended. I have found that a lot of others do it regardless but my dd slept through the night since the day she was born & always feel asleep and stayed asleep on her back.

    • Yes. Ds wouldn't sleep any other way.
