  • So mad at DH and DCs. In bed with flu for 3 days. Better today but not one dish washed, nothing put away or cleaned up the whole time I was sick. House is a mess. DCs are school aged and should know better.

      • DH here & I agree. That's not cool. If you're feeling well enough you should call a girlfriend to meet you for a drink. DCs should know better, but DH set the tone for this behaviour.

    • Before we had dcs this happened with just me and my dh. He left the house a mess. I was apparently running a really high fever and went off on him (I don't remember it). I don't know what I said because now we have dcs and whenever I'm sick, there is never a mess left. Wish I could tell you what it was that worked.
