a dd at my dc's preschool was waitlisted at every private where she applied. 99 erb and very sweet. the parents didn't play the waitlist game and she didn't get in anywhere. they're now hoping for a good g&t placement. the process sucks.
3 replies [ Reply | Watch | Morefirst of all if it's not your kid how do you know the ERB score. second of all if they did not "play the game" they probably did not care that much. Many great kids do not get spots unfortunately it happens to many people. I remember a few years ago when the head of board at my DC's pre school DD did not get in anywhere with a great kid.
