Has anyone asked their doctor about using papaya enzyme tablets during pregnancy? I bought some yesterday to relieve heartburn on a recommendation I read somewhere, andthey seem to help, but some further internet research indicates that some view them as a potential trigger for contractions. Not worth calling my doctor about -- I'll just stop taking them until I see her next -- but I'm wondering if anyone else has asked about this.
