20 mo ds used to be such a good sleeper and now he fights going to bed every night, tries to climb out of his crib, wakes up early and refuses to go back to sleep (he used to take an early morning bottle and go back to sleep or play happily in his crib for awhile). Now it's all screaming and wailing for me. His older sibling is already a really awful sleeper, so I'm particularly frustrated that my former dream sleeper is losing it. Any advice? I've never really sleep trained him because I never needed to.

    • This is pretty normal - in my experience anyway. You need a set bedtime routine so that dc knows what happens when and that regardless of the fuss he makes he will not get another story or that you won't go back to him etc. GL
