A bit confused? How many hours does your child go to kindergarten for? MIL told me its only half days, but I thought it was a bit longer? What about 3's and 4's preschool programs? I'm sure it varies but want to have a better idea

    • In NYC public K programs are full days. Public prek (only four year olds) in public schools can be either half day (2 1/2 hours morn or afternoon session) or full day. Private programs are all over the place.
