what are signs of autism in 14 mth old?

in my experience the lack of pointing is a big one, but pointing can take until 18 months, although in a typical child it is usually there in some form sooner. Does child get it when you point, or does child look at your finger? For example, if you are in a park and an airplane or helicopter is in the sky and you point, does child look where you are pointing? Look up the CHAT , checklist for autism in toddlers.
