Do you 'enjoy' spending time with your kids?
- Yes, most of the time we really have fun together
- Sometimes it's fun, sometimes it's really dull and aggravating
- Honestly most of the time it's not fun at all, but it's not supposed to be fun
- I really don't enjoy it at all, and wish I could spend less time with them

Anyone ever successfully appeal a double parking ticket? At 6 am, we double parked outside our building (side street). I took our kids up and dh brought up a load of luggage and went right back down (didn't even bring it into apt, so we're talking 1 to 2 minutes, maximum). Our super was outside telling officer that dh would be right back. When he got there, she hadn't even printed ticket. Printed it while he stood there and drove off. This seems pretty fing outrageous given that there aren't parking spots designated for loading and unloading.

And you'd probably then do best to take the reduced offer because they generally don't care if there's no loading area. We all do it, but it's not legal. Ticket agents have quotas and you got unlucky.

When you write "appeal" do you mean that you already were found guilty? Or do you just want to plead not guilty? Either way, you have no grounds to win dismissal of the summons. The law is no double parking. Not, "no double parking unless it is only for a couple of minutes and the super says its OK." Only possible mitigating factors are medical emergency or disabled vehicle. You'll need documentation for either of those excuses.
