  • can one use miralax everyday if your system is lazy in moving things along?. Isn't that a laxative ?

    • it is very gentle... i used it every day while undergoing chemo and was constipated.

        • miralax worked wonders for me. i love oatmeal, but it doesn't have the same effect at all for me. also, consider a little caffeine to move things along... ;-)

    • BTDT. High fiber diet works best. Get 25+ grams/day. Try gnu bars (gnufoods.com or health food store)--12 grams of fiber including 9 grams of soluble fiber which is the kind of fiber that moves things along, as you say--4 1/2 times the soluble fiber as in one bowl of oatmeal. Also try All Bran (10g fiber in 1/2 cup) and high fiber fruit (raspberries are very high in fiber) and you will be golden--wanted to say brown but it seemed in bad taste :-)
