    • I would calculate by the hour and then reality check the weekly number. I would probably pay $15/hr, but I know people pay between $10 - $20.

    • I assume this is in a summer location like the Hamptons or similar? If so, are you expecting some evenings too? I am very curious because I am thinking of hiring a similar student and was thinking 400-500 per week plus room and board. Not sure if that is market though.

      • It is in the Hamptons. It would be hard to figure out by the hour so I was thinking by the day. I am not expecting nights b/c it is just during the week and I am pretty much on my own. Does $100/day ($500/week) plus room and board sound right?

            • $500 is a little high but I think you could get the person easily for that. If you are going to be all week alone in the Hamptons though you should specify that she work one noght so you can go out with all the SAHMs once in a while or with dh on a Friday here or there.
