        • It was a great deal. Not sure how we got so lucky. It was a zix bedroom house and my parents vame for part of the time too which was nice since we never could have afforded a house with enough room for all of us. That was five years ago. The family is no longer at the school (kids graduated) but they offer us (and we use it) every year for the same price for a week that they will not be using it and then donate then donate the 1 k to the school. We have actually become friends with them as a result and their oldest daughter babysits for us sometimes.

            • Yeah. It turned out really well. When we did it we were just so thrilled to get a deal on a wonderful vacation but it turned out to be more than we ever expected. Never bid more than $350 on anything else though!
