i have to say that this is the one time i really see the difference between the old UB and the new UB. there's no pesach talk. i logged on to see how everyone handled visiting family and inlaws and there's hardly anything. did all the passover observers move to ybm or is it just not being talked about this year?

Ehh...it's the middle of Passover. The seder seems like old news. But I'll share: at MIL's for Passover, family is not particularly religious, but after years of mish-mash, we've all agreed on a simple Seder in English. The before the meal part takes 20-30 minutes and my MIL told her friend who she had invited that would be the case. The friend keeps saying "can't we just skip this part" "let's go to page 80", etc. I was really, really pissed. She was told, decided to accept the invite anyway, and was still disrespectful. She's lucky I didn't clock her with the lamb shank!

Spent the second night with my parents (live a few blocks from us, so no sleepover) - which was basically just a meal with Passover foods (no service). We're being lax at home - I ate PB&J on bread yesterday and we had bagels this AM.
