Birthday party question - anyone know of a place that will send a character (i.e. Elmo) for 1/2 hr. ? I just got a $300 quote from one place and I am aghast at that price!

  - you actually cant. people get in lots of trouble for that. the characters are owned by somebody and they charge big bucks to make sure the characters are appropriately protected and not worn by someone who shouldnt (think pot smoking elmo around the corner before the party....)
