Someone told me that the DOE plans to open PS151 but they don't even have a plan for it? What have you heard?

The enrollment office told me today that there has been no official decision on opening a 151 school and that they are waiting to do the lottery until a decision is made. More significantly, he said that all lottery schools still need to take the zoned students first so the "chances of out of zone students getting in to any upper east side schools which are severely over crowded as it is are nil."
