My husband and I are trying to decide on a name for our baby girl, who is due in April. We currently have a one year old son, Finnegan Robert. Here are the names we are considering: Caroline Therese Madeline Therese Catherine Therese (Cate) Gwyneth Therese (Gwen) Marin Therese Your feedback would be very much appreciated

- I like to think of Finnegan as an old-fashioned name (I like it) and I think that Madeline has the same kind of quality as well.

- I like Finnegan/Finn very much but if you have to name your two kids in a row it might sound like a mouthful with some of these options. I like Cate for this reason, but I would just do Cate and Finnegan.

- Therese is such a beautiful and original name. Why not use that for her first name and make one of the more common ones the middle? She'd thank you. Besides that I like them all except Marin and Gwen. Too many Kates, Maddies and Carolines.

- Catherine Therese is beautiful because they are both french names. There is also a lot that you can do with the name Catherine so she could have an original name while having the more common name of Catherine at the same time. But would you consider making Catherine the middle name? Also, love Finnegan!
