From a non-UB friend -- the curious case of Packer 1st grade....because of sheer volume of applications, they chose not to re-interview her DC who had applied for Kindergarten (and was already on the waitlist). Instead they focused on those applying to Packer for the first time. When the wait list moves, the kids who get in are those who had just been interviewed, not giving my friend's DC a chance to interview. My friend thinks that's unfair. Oh, and the kid's Preschool Director DIDN'T KNOW that the DC hadn't interviewed again. (that seems rather egregious to me, but she doesn't seem to mind as much). I see her point, but is she reaching...thoughts?
