Suggestion for quick carribean vacation w 2 kids in may? lkooking for direct flight for a few days. went to cayman isl. last year - would like somethign different. can you also rec. good kid-friendly hotels? thanks! leaving from NYC

- How old are your kids? If they are little, Club Med Punta Cana may be a better option, as they offer Baby Club Med and Petit Club Med programs (covering infants to age 3). Only Sandpiper and Ixtapa also offer these two programs. Other Club Meds are more likely to offer Mini Club Med (age 4-10).

- Just got back from Buccaneer in St. Croix. VERY kid-friendly, but toally not overrun with screaming brats. It was delightful. They even produced handsome Yalie swim team guy to teach DS how to snorkle. Breakfast buffet awesome, conciereges went above and beyond, it was just fabulous.

  - We stayed there 4 yrs ago with 2.5 yo, and ITA, it's a very nice low-key place that is very receptive to young kids.
