I completely disagree and fwiw, I prefer Trevor. The families at Trevor are lovely--warm, accomplished, smart with a quiet intellectual bent and unpretentious. If you can, get a copy of the Board of Trutess profile -- you will be very impressed. We are zoned for PS 6 - there are 29 children in a class--compared to Trevor - 14-15 in a class-far more indiv attn. There are far fewer differences among privates, esp in the lower grades, than between any one private and public. And don't listen to UP hype about tiers and ranking. It's based on college admissions. Caliber of entering classes much different than graduating classes. Every single private sends students to HYP and other tt colleges.
