    - not really. 2 of my friends were always the prettiest since college...one of them never lost the baby weight (40 lbs) and the other had plastic surgery that didn't turn out so well

- I'm pregnant again. And given how hard it was to sustain my pg with #1, this has been a breeze. And now I'll have my two kids and never have to worry about going to that endocrinologist again. Thank god! And yipee for me!

- i have a great kid. he's sweet and considerate both at home and to his friends. all the kids/parents/nannies like him a lot as a playmate. my adult friends like hanging out with him. and he happens to also be smart and got into 2 TT schools. i consider myself very lucky.

- Eight months ago, my kids were the pickiest, unhealthy eaters imaginable. Yesterday, my kids were asked to be in a documentary about healthy eating -- as positive examples! I'm ridiculously proud of our family for having accomplished such a major turn-around.

    - We followed the plan outlined in _Disease Proof Your Child_ by Joel Fuhrman. Hate the title, love the content. It requires a serious commitment, though. I almost hesitate to recommend it. I think if we hadn't been so desperate, we'd have quit after two weeks.

- dh and I have a fantastic marriage- it was always easy from day 1- I sincerely feel like we are perfect for each other, like our insides are the same in so many ways- and yes- times suck dh got laid off, I'm pregnant and can't get work any time soon- but because I married dh - I feel like we'll easily get through this time as we value the same things.

- dd is 19 mo and can count to 10 and say most of the alphabet with no prompts. people are always commenting on how smart she is, how many words she knows, and also how pretty she is. and she is super sweet.
