    • My move to Stamford or Greenwich was contingent upon my daughter's acceptance from GA or GCDS. I currently live in NJ. Unfortunately my dd was rejected today ( kindergarten). Tad disappointed, but now over it. I've heard great things about the Greenwich public schools. It is a personal choice whether to send your child to private or public. Good luck!

    • Forgot to mention about the Greenwich Academy. GA is an all girls school. Starts from K-12th grade. Highly competitive to get into. Majority of the girls are accepted into excellent colleges. The other school we applied to was Greenwich Country Day School. Another competitive school to get into. GCDS is a co-ed school that starts from k-9th grade. GCDS accepts family and faculty members children first before accepting outside folks. There are a limited amount of seats thus difficult to get into if not well connected. To be honest, I would be perfectly content sending my child to a public school in Greenwich. Hope this helps.
