Has anyone heard from a school that WLed them? Anyone? Wondering whether no word back is bad...or if they truly dont know anything yet and are too busy to call. I was thinking, even with no news, if they LIKED you they'd call and say hang tight. We left a vm and dropped off a note saying we are committed to attneding if a spot opens up...but no word back. is this normal or bad sign? TIA

- I don't know. Someone on here got off EC waitlist on Friday and someone else got off Trevor waitlist. PSD told me that if we hear anything it will be Monday or Tuesday. Good luck.

    - i don't think an email would be psycho if you write from the heart. depends on the school. if it's babby i would think move on. but, some are really nice.

- even if they like you they will not call and say hang tight. you would get all excited and then what if they didn't end up having a spot for you? anyway they are too busy to call around and make people feel better. the most important thing is that you told them you would attend if admitted, now just sit tight.

        probably. those who have a school should really drop off contacts before Wed. Just starts you off on the wrong foot if you wait until the last moment.

        I'm genuinely curious: what effect could dropping off contract at last min have on dc's experience at the school? They flag your file and penalized kid? Teachers would never even know this. Surely by fall no one but admissions office would have any idea who got contract in when.

        yes, the doa's should be willing to give people some indication by tues so they know whether to hang on or cut bait. it would be the decent thing to do, not that you can count on that
