  • Someone here posted about drug dealing at Collegiate in front of teachers and staff. Collegiate reject/waitlister or is it possible that the kids with the best college admissions in the city by far are doing lines between periods?

    • i have been here for 5 years and have never ever seen a post like that. this is typical week before accepts bullsh$t posted by someone who wants you to give up your spot. utterly transparent!

    • Either or both. No way to tell. If you think that all HS students who attend tt schools are clean just because they attend tt you are very mistaken, however. Drugs are everywhere from TT to the trailer park. IMO It has more to do with the family than the school.

    • Collegiate mom here who also went to private school in manhattan. I assure you that drug dealing at school would not be tolerated. That's not to say that there are no kids who take drugs at Collegiate. i'm sure there are just like there are at every other high school in the city.

    • I don't know about this but, yes, there were plenty of drugs done by TT students when I was in high school - and of course there are plenty of drugs at all the top boarding schools that have high college admissions. Not just Collegiate - there were drugs all over the NYC private school scene.

    • They may or may not being doing lines between classes, though I would doubt the majority do - I can guarantee that they are not dealing drugs in front of teachers.

      • Of course not, I thought that the teachers were dealing drugs to the parents to make extra cash. And of course we all know, that kids learn it from watching their parents.
