ERB QUESTION: What does 'coding" mean and how is it measured? I have read posts that refer to their dc's coding in addition to test scores. Thx.

    • it's the only timed section of the ERB. They ask dc to copy some shapes. They look at pencil grip and accuracy.

      • Oh, thanks. I thought it had something to do with a secret coded language in the report. LOL! I am becoming so paranoid.

    • My dd scored extremely low on coding. It tests processing speed. They use it also to comment on grip, but it's meant to test the ability to keep a shape in working memory while drawing it, and it's more complicated than just copying.
