would like to plan a girls trip- one of us on west coast, two on east coast. Looking for a great beach vacation for a long weekend. Recommendation? Puerto Vallarta? Something in between coasts? Any ideas for easy to get to places that are great?

    • PV is seedy and dirty (tons of huge ships in the ocean so the water is filthy).... Cabo is easier to get to and MUCH nicer.

    • I HIGHLY recommend Santa Fe. We did this with friends from CA. It was a perfect destination for both of us (though a little more of a hassle for the east coasters). Art, spa, hiking, good food....

    • I hear great things about the Florida Panhandle "Redneck Riviera". I think it was a Hilton there, can't remember, but pretty high end resort that friends of mine used to do a "girls weekend" annually.
