  • If you find out that your amnio results indicated Down Syndrome, what is the next step? If you choose termination, does the peri usually do it, or are you referred somewhere else? Would appreciate any btdt help.

    • An OB/GYN can perform the d&c or d&e. You don't need a peri - but that would be fine too. Talk to your doctor

    • If I found out that I was having a child with down syndrome I would get as much information as possible... so I would make the right decision for myself.
