Doc wants dd to skip the milk and take pediasure-type product instead b/c she is very small. dh and I are hesitant b/c of all the sugars in these products. Anyone else btdt?? advice??

    • Perhaps the ped is suggesting this as the most convenient, easiest weight gain option; PediaSure, ensure and all the other stuff seems wrong for a young child. How old is she. I'd absolutely ask for a refferal for a ped nutritionist. If she's eating food, get her into guacamole, make banana fruit smoothies with whey proteins and other fat/vitamin rich foods. Bear in mind, I'm not a ped and don't know details but better options do exist.
