- why do you need a pediatric dermatologist? most derms treat kids.

  - my ped said that an adult ped derm would likely be "too aggressive" with treatment and potentially miss other warning signs - he was adamant about this...

    - for the overwhelming majority of derm problems; eczema, acne, mole chekcs etc.. any board certified derm would be absolutely appropriate

- call dr natalie geary. she's 84th betw mad and fifth. she's phenomenal with ped derm issues. she's a normal ped, but derm issues are her specialty. she's also trained in eastern medicine so her approach is often less drastic than the typical derm steroid approach.
