  • Obama's inauguration is costing 150 million--most expensive in history. Bush's inauguration in '05 cost 42 million. That's a truly irresponsible use of public funds in these times. Just a taste of things to come.

    • Tell yourself what you need to. If anything, they'll need to spend the money to control the throngs of intelligent votors who will be coming out to celebrate the fruits of their labors. Be a gracious loser, would you? I mean loser in many senses of the word.

              • Yeah, I mean what are they supposed to do? People want to come and see this event. When Bush won in 2000, people stood at the parade route and threw stuff at him or turned their backs. In 04 no one gave a crap, they just hated Kerry more....

          • ITA. He's also totally unqualified for the job and only won on account of GWB's total incompetence and McCain's choice of Palin for a running mate.

          • and the funny thing is, if you tell someone who voted for Obama that, they will get very emotional in their argument about it, thereby proving your point.

        • Of course she CAN post as much as she wants. She CAN post this every 30 seconds for all of her waking hours if she CHOOSES. That does not, however, make it any less ANNOYING to read. Kind of like your random use of CAPITALIZATION in a misguided attempt at EMPHASIS.

    • Bush spent more time on vacation than any other President. We should dock his pay, never mind the cost of shuttling Secret Service, etc. to his vacation homes.
