    • The lessons at Bryant Park are good, but they are closing next weekend. Some of the instructors also are working at South Street Seaport rink, but I don't know anything about it.

    • Central Park. Near the zoo. Enter at the bottom of the park on the east side in the low 60's. Should be reasonable and stays open into April.

    • I would say probably Riverbank State Park and Lasker Rink would be the cheapest choices. Riverbank is on Riverside Drive & 138th Street, Lasker is in Central Park, go in at CPN (110th) and go south.

    • I know you are asking for Manhattan, however, there is a brand new ring just opened in Dec in Long Island City right behind where MoMa Queens is. City Ice Pavillion, http://cityice.pucksystems.com/. They are not crowded at all, very reasonable and not to mention, new. My son has a great time skating there.
