38 weeks pg.and mostly feeling anxious-as i did throughout my first pregnancy. dh plans for us to attend bar mitzvah of close family on his side in spring lake nj. last time we went we sat in horrific traffic. even tho onot so far from the city, i fear, going into labor and freaking out in the car. would you just not go?

my friend had her 2nd baby in a taxi on 9th Ave while on the way to hospital. cab got pulled over but ended up getting a police escort to hospital. 2nd babies are quicker than 1st. if this is your 1st you will have hours before you need to go to hosp! that aside, i was so uncomfortable before my DB was born I didn't want to be in a car for more than 5 min.
