  • How is being pregnant with your 2nd different from your first?

    • Gained weight faster. Developed PUPS with no 2 (not no 1). Even more tired second time around(kids 18 mos apart). Aside from that not much different. Ultimate weight gain about the same.

      • ^^^also went directly for amnio and did not bother with screening tests as screens with no 1 gave "false positive" and I was an older mom.

    • First and second trimesters for me went more quickly and I was less obsessed with being pg b/c I had a child at home that needed my attention. Third trimester much harder -- more tired, more sluggish, feel bigger (not sure I am but feel it) and a bit more anxious about delivery (will #1 be okay? how long will I be in the hospital? What if I need to rest when I get home and it's hard on #1? etc....)
